Is deterministic generation real?
Yes. Seeded, category, tone, and goal-based Fortune output is generated from deterministic local logic and does not require a model provider.
Are my favorites saved on a server?
No in Phase 1. Favorites and history are browser-local and non-sensitive. Fortune does not store PLATPHORM_API_KEY or private goals in browser storage.
What happens when model-assisted fortunes are unavailable?
The API returns an honest degraded state with deterministic fallback. It does not fake AI-generated text.
Does Fortune Fog have MCP tools?
Yes. /api/mcp supports JSON-RPC 2.0 initialize, ping, tools/list, tools/call, resources/list, resources/read, prompts/list, and prompts/get.
